Asset management is a big issue for corporate financial officers and in the past 10-to-15 years, software developers have developed a flurry of mobile apps to help businesses get a better grip on what cash is coming in and what cash is going out on a daily basis (Asset Panda and Ivanti come to mind).
Now business-oriented asset management mobile apps are getting a 2023 artificial intelligence makeover, with new rollouts happening on a regular basis.
Take Revnue’s new contract lifecycle and asset management mobile app, released October 16.
Los Angeles, Cal.-based Revnue’s new app aims to enhance and streamline businesses’ asset, contract, customer, supplier, and services data management, the company states. The app is available on both Android and IOS mobile platforms.
Revnue is touting the new AI-fueled asset management app as scalable, secure, and industry-compliant, which could be music to the ears of CFOs looking for a multi-dimensional corporate cash management tool that covers a ton of ground and does it quickly and efficiently.
“The recent launch of our mobile app serves as a testament to our continued leadership in the realm of asset and contract lifecycle management technology,” says Revnue’s chief revenue officer Sean Stanton. “This development empowers users with unprecedented access to critical business data, including assets and contracts, at their fingertips, around the clock—(we believe it’s) a transformative game-changer.”
Stanton says that company customers articulated a clear need for management.
(They want us to) “empower our field teams to effortlessly scan serial numbers and tag inventory directly from their mobile devices,” he says. “We took this challenge head-on and delivered a solution that not only fulfills this demand but also unlocks numerous other streamlined workflows.”
Immediate Access
“Picture an IT executive, away from the office during off-hours or over the weekend, alerted to a critical device malfunction,” Stanton adds.
With the app, users can immediately have access to AI-fueled asset intelligence to solve the problem.
“From pinpointing the asset’s exact installation site, retracing its purchase history, identifying supplier details, to understanding its maintenance timeline, warranty status, and direct support contacts – every critical detail is at their fingertips,” Stanton notes. “It’s not just convenience, it’s a competitive advantage for our customers.”
The app also enables finance team members to leverage the inclusion of more “intelligence on the edge,” Revnue states. “It uses a smartphone’s camera to decipher things like barcodes, QR codes, UPC codes, and text to provide fast access to their assets and contracts and streamline workflow and operational processes.”
No doubt, given the ongoing troubles with supply chains and inventories, among other real-time business cash management headaches, there’s likely a market for an AI mobile app that pulls asset management together quickly and coherently.
Add Revnue to the growing list of developers who are on the case.
